43) God's Riddle

Tempest's young lovers yearn to drench ,
A rich harvest the farmer seeks to clench.
Moist clouds even the skies sorely miss :
Little dreams can be fulfilled by rain's gentle kiss.

Not far away, the rains perennially pour-
Bathing the lands -in all seasons four;
To the heavens the potter cries for sympathy,
To the rains beggars beg to spare them some dignity.

So very strange is this human chain -
- Where one's loss is another's gain!
"To rain or not" a riddle for even the divine one:
One child prays for  rain and the other the sun!
