Once the harsh wind sought to dampen,
The resilient spirit of the lonely rose-
It asked , why do you even bother to open ?
The wise rose replied : Ill just fade away if i close !
Insulted, the wind let out an angry groan,
And it bellowed with a deafening moan,
But The valiant rose stood his ground alone ,
The valiant rose just stood his ground alone !
Then one day, the harsh wind stopped blowing,
And around him he saw sweet little buds growing-
He smiled for soon, roses would blossom on either side
For posterity HIS fragrance they shall spread far and wide!
